Perpetual

About

Perpetual is an endless top-down shooter game developed using the Unity engine. I developed it alongside 2 other programmers as part of the Game Design Studio 1 course at University of Technology Sydney.

During this project, I worked on:

  • Core player movement, primary weapon, laser special weapon and dash ability
  • Ability and weapon upgrade tree including unlock UI and utilities for configuring upgrades
  • Boss fight encounter design and implementation including custom teleport VFX
  • Visual design - enemy art, UI, weapon VFX, typography and colour scheme
