Sector Strike

About

Sector Strike is a level-based top-down shooter game developed using the Unity engine. I developed it alongside 3 other programmers as part of the Game Design Studio 2 course at University of Technology Sydney. We also collaborated with 3 students from the Bachelor of Music and Sound Design programme who produced audio for the game.

During this project, I worked on:

  • Enemy spawn system - drop pods, wave progression and prototyping enemy behaviour
  • User interface - fonts and colour scheme, screen transitions, HUD
  • Level select - design and implementation of the level select screen including logic to unlock sectors in a non-linear manner
  • Audio team liaison - working with the audio team to ensure the audio assets fit with the game's art style
